David Langenfeld
Attorney at Law

David Langenfeld is a Texas employment law and civil litigation attorney.

He’s been fighting for the rights of individuals and small businesses since becoming licensed to practice law in 1992.

During that time, he has successfully represented clients in cases involving:

  • Unpaid overtime wages
  • Wrongful employment termination
  • Contract disputes
  • Personal injury
  • Texas Board of Nursing Disciplinary Investigations
  • Other legal matters

Although most cases result in settlement, David understands that the best settlements are achieved when the lawyer skillfully prepares the case for trial.

That’s why David only accepts cases he’s willing to take to trial and prepares every case as though that’s where it’s going. If the other side wants to discuss settlement, he’ll listen. Otherwise, David will stand ready, willing, and able to fight for you in the courtroom.

David Fights for His Clients

Prior to becoming a Texas employment law and civil litigation attorney, David Langenfeld was a successful Texas criminal defense lawyer.

This provided him with a tremendous amount of actual courtroom experience and he won not-guilty jury verdicts for clients charged with crimes ranging from DWI to murder.  As a criminal defense attorney, David developed an aggressive style and gained trial experience he now brings to his Texas employment law and civil litigation practice for Texans who need an attorney to fight for them.

Board Certified
Labor and Employment Lawyer

David Langenfeld is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Of the more than 90,000 attorneys in Texas, less than 10% are Board Certified in any area of the law. Less than 1% are Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law.

Board certification is a mark of excellence and a distinguished accomplishment.

To become Board Certified, the attorney must demonstrate to the Board substantial experience in their area of the law and go through a vigorous background investigation where the Board contacts lawyers and Judges familiar with the attorney’s character and qualifications.

The attorney must then pass a lengthy and difficult written examination. Board Certified lawyers earn the right to publicly represent themselves as a specialist in a select area of the law.

In fact, they are the only attorneys allowed by the State Bar of Texas to do so.
